Nice day today, right?! Well, in terms of lower humidity levels and lower temperatures. Rain continues to fall to the north and east of the DC area. However, as we continue through the afternoon and evening hours, the light rain showers will begin to make their way back to the west, filling in the dry gaps now. The threat of rain ends as we go through the late evening hours. Temperatures today only rise into the upper 70s with highs in the lower 80s by Saturday! Saturday will not be nearly as wet as today with only about a 30% chance of some afternoon showers/storms. The humidity will stay at bay as well on your Saturday! However, don’t get used to the pleasant airmass. The temperatures, humidity all begin to creep back into the region by Sunday. Highs on Sunday near 90 degrees and continue into the lower 90s all through next week.
