The most pleasant weather we've experienced in about a month is finally here.  The 90s will feel like a thing of the past as a cold front crosses the area this afternoon and evening. It will be a slow progression of cooler, drier air, but the dew point temperature will be dropping and you will really notice the comfortable conditions. In fact, you may even think about long sleeves by Thursday morning.  The dew point temperatures last week reached the low 80s and tomorrow they will only be in the 50s.

Forecast Dew Point Temperatures Thursday Afternoon

This signifies less humid air.  That muggy feeling we've had for weeks will be minimal.  the temperatures will be below average as well.  Our average high temperture at Reagan National is 88 degrees.  We will stay below that all week.  Another cold front sneaks in this weekend bringing chances of showers and thunderstorms. We are also keeping an eye on the tropics.

Tropical Depression 4 Forecast Track

Tropical Depression 4 developed early this morning.  Still way to far away to determine if/when it would impact the U.S.
