Bermuda high pressure off the western Atlantic coast will allow for warm and humid conditions overnight. Lows will stay in the 70s inside the Beltway with slightly cooler temperatures in the mountains. Areas of patchy fog will be likely during the early morning hours.

Clouds will increase Sunday as highs reach the lower 90s, some may even see readings near 95 degrees with heat index readings in the upper 90s to near 100. Showers and thunderstorms are likely by late afternoon and into the evening hours. As the area of high pressure weakens, showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous Monday.
