Washington, D.C. weather forecast: Showers and storms for upcoming week

Keep an umbrella handy, showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for the next several days.

Overnight:
Isolated Showers & T-Storms
Lows: 70°-78°
Wind: West 10-15 mph
Monday:
Partly Sunny, T-Storms Possible (30%)
Highs: 88°-93°
Wind: West 5-10 mph
Tuesday:
Isolated T-Storms (20%)
Highs: upper 80s
Wind: Southwest 3-8 mph

A few showers and thunderstorms will dot radar overnight. Lows will eventually fall into the 70s by early morning. The Severe Thunderstorm Watch was cancelled just before 7:30.

Unsettled weather is likely Monday. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Highs will remain at or slightly above average until Thursday.
