A cold front passed the area yesterday ushering in a refreshing change. Expect clouds to break for some sunshine this splendid day with low humidity and comfy highs in the lower 80s. A stray shower east of DC cannot be ruled out, where there may also be some added clouds.

Comfortable conditions carry into Friday with a touch more heat and humidity into the weekend. It will be nowhere near the oppressive levels we have just experienced. There is a slight chance for isolated showers late Saturday but showers and thunderstorms chances will increase to at least 40% on Sunday as the next cold front approaches. Have a great day!
