It's humid out there today. A tropical air mass remains entrenched with periods of hefty rainfall and storms likely on this Tuesday.

Variably Cloudy, Sultry, 50% Chance Scat'd. T'Storms & Tropical Downpours
Highs: Low to Mid 80s
Wind: S 5-15 mph
Showers & Storms Taper, Partly Cloudy, Muggy
Lows: 68º-75º
Wind: S 5-10 mph
Partly Cloudy, Warmer, Isolated Thunderstorms (40% chance)
Highs: Mid 80s
Wind: S 5-15 mph

Ripples of low pressure along a stalled front will bring the threat for showers and storms with heavy rain once again likely later today.  By tomorrow, the axis of heaviest rain will likely shift a bit westward with a decreased chance of t'showers. There will be a few showers and storms on the 4th of July, but just like Wednesday, the axis of more concentrated activity will be in the mountains west of I-81. High pressure will likely build farther west or closer to the region from the Atlantic later this week, allowing the activity to become more isolated but the humidity will stay with us all week and temperatures will climb. Stay cool and have a great day!
