The gray skies and light rain of Saturday have given way to much improved weather on this Sunday.  Although there were some areas of dense fog early this morning, skies cleared quickly as northerly winds brought refreshing air to Washington!  Feeling more like early September than early August, highs today should reach only around 80 degrees.  Plenty of sunshine and low humidity will have you checking the calendar to see if school is about to open!  Tonight's lows, likely dropping down as low as the 50s, would make for the coolest night since early June and should prompt much window opening. The high pressure responsible for today will last through tomorrow before moving offshore.

A warm front and a southerly flow of air will shake us out of our reverie on Tuesday as more humidity returns along with a threat of showers.  A stalled front could keep unsettled weather with us through Friday with partly sunny skies, highs in the mid 80s, and showers and thunderstorms possible each day.  Some models show however, that yet another cool down is possible by next Saturday.  If this be August, we'll take it!  Enjoy your Sunday.
