The frontal system that is crossing through the area this is taking its sweet time, so with that being said, keeping the chance of showers and some thunderstorms in the forecast at least through the late afternoon as this front moves to the southeast. Once it clears the region, some post-frontal precip will stick around through the beginning of rush hour but expect clearing as we continue through the evening, low humidity and lower temperatures. Look for partly cloudy skies through the overnight hours with temperatures slipping down into the mid 60s. Canadian high pressure builds in for the weekend leaving us with a phenomenal weekend featuring sunshine, almost zero humidity and temperatures below normal in the lower to mid 80s. High pressure slips of the coast on Monday and temperatures rise slightly into the mid 80s with a few more clouds pushing in. The area stays dry until Tuesday and Wednesday when a few disturbances float through, bringing increased chances of showers and thunderstorms.
