High pressure will provide blue skies and sunsine a just a while longer. As the center of the high moves out and a warm front approaches from the south, a new weather pattern will become established. So look for clouds to increase this afternoon and remain in place overnight with a few scattered showers. The warm front is expected to become stationary over the mid-Atlantic for the balance of the week, Therefore, we expect daily weather conditions to be unsettled. Translation: partly to mostly cloudy, warm and muggy with occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms. That is our forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Skies will clear when the next cold front crosses the area. But that may not be until late Friday or Saturday.
