After a stretch of 6 straight days with temperatures below 82°F, the heat and humidity will return and remain through the rest of the work week.

As skies clear overnight, areas of fog may form and may be an issue overnight and through the early morning hours.

Skies will turn partly cloudy on Tuesday with a noticeable warm up. Wednesday and Thursday will be very warm and humid with highs pushing through the upper 80s to near 90 degrees in spots. An isolated thunderstorm is possible late Wednesday. There will be a little better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches. Drier and ab it cooler air will filter into the region on Friday and should remain in place, to make a pleasant weather weekend.
