Washington D.C. weather foecast: showers likely this weekend

Most will see sunny skies this afternoon, but a few showers may pop across the mid-Atlantic.

This Afternoon:
Mostly Sunny, Sprinkles Possible
Highs: 83°-88°
Wind: Southwest 8-12 mph
Overnight:
Increasing Clouds
Lows: 65°-72°
Wind: West 8-12 mph
Saturday:
PM Showers, T-Storms Likely
Highs: middle 80s
Wind: Southwest 5-10 mph

High pressure will briefly build across the mid-Atlantic this afternoon bringing abundant sunshine and warm temperatures. A few sprinkles may develop, but will not cause any problems. Clouds will increase overnight and into Saturday. Showers dot radar midday Saturday, with the best chances for widespread showers and thunderstorms later in the afternoon and into the evening hours.

Sunshine and highs in the lower to middle 80s return Sunday and Monday.
