After some early morning cloudiness, we will see afternoon sunshine to start the Labor Day weekend.

This Afternoon:
Partly Cloudy
Highs: Mid-Upper 80s
Wind: SW 4-8
Tonight:
Partly Cloudy and Humid
Lows: Upper 60s
Wind: S 5
Saturday:
Mostly Sunny
Highs: Near 90
Wind: SW 10
The last hurrah of summer is upon us and the weather is living up to it's reputation. Weak high pressure will keep us dry today and brings breaks in the cloud cover. More sunshine this afternoon compared to your Thursday. The start of the holiday weekend will be better than the end.
Labor Day Weekend Forecast
A few stray t-storms will be possible in the Potomac Highlands and Blue Ridge Saturday, but the rest of us will see increasing chances of storms through the weekend with a peak probability of 50% on Monday. After the cold front passes our temps cool down big time with drier air for the middle of next week. By Wednesday, highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.
