Temperatures climbing this afternoon and should meet or top 90 degrees. This will only be the fifth day for that to happen this month. The jet stream is steering storms from the Great Lakes into the Mid-Atlantic region.
This Afternoon
The complex of storms in the Ohio Valley now will likely make it into our area by mid-afternoon, but most of the activity will be South and West of the immediate metro area. Another round of showers and storms will move in late tonight/overnight and could linger into early Wednesday. The final hurrah comes in late Wednesday and then drier, but warm weather stays through the week. If your kids are back in school, we'd love to see them dressed for the weather in their best duds. We'll show the pictures all week during the Bus Stop Forecast at 6:15a and 6:45a. You can tweet them to me @JacquiJeras or post them on my facebook page or the Stormwatch7 Facebook page. Have a great day!!
