High pressure will bring a not so typical early August feel in Washington. Overnight lows will fall into the 60s in and around the District and upper 50s in the mountains. Patchy fog may develop during the early morning hours west of D.C, but should not cause any travel delays.

Monday can be described as: splendid, fantastic, wonderful or just simply beautiful. Highs will be just near 80 degrees with a ton of sunshine and low humidity. Clouds will start to increase by evening allowing for increased chances for showers Tuesday.
