The calendar may be nearing the end of August, but it is still summer and will feel like it for the rest of the week.

Overnight:
Partly Cloudy, Showers Possible (mainly north)
Lows: 67°-72°
Wind: Southwest 5-10 mph

Tuesday:
Partly Sunny, T-Storms (30%)
Highs: near 90°
Wind: West 5-10 mph
Wednesday:
Thunderstorms Likely (60%)
Highs: upper 80s
Wind: Northwest 5-10 mph

Skies will stay partly cloudy during the overnight hours as temperatures fall to the upper 60s and lower 70s. Shower and thunderstorm chances will be limited on Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will eventually rebound to near 90 degrees. Heat index values may make it feel a bit hotter.

A cold front will bring unsettled weather to the mid-Atlantic late Wednesday. Ahead of the front, temperatures will be in the upper 80s. Dew point values will fall Thursday making it feel a bit more comfortable, but highs for the rest of the week will remain above average for this time of year.
