This morning's cold front paved the way for a fantastic stretch of weather the rest of this week.

Tonight:
Clear and Cool
Lows: 45°-53°
Wind: N 5-13 mph
Tuesday:
Sunny and Unseasonably Cool
Highs: Near 70°
Wind: NE 5-10 mph
Wednesday:
Sunny & Comfortable
Highs: Low/Mid 70s
Wind: S 5-10 mph

The sky cleared with dry air settling into place, and this will allow our temperatures to drop into the 40s and low 50s by early Tuesday morning. As a matter of fact, lows will likely be a few degrees cooler on Wednesday morning. Unseasonably cool air will be in place through Thursday with vast sunshine and highs going from near 70° on Tuesday into the upper 70s by Thursday. The average high this time of year at Reagan National Airport is 80°, but the mercury should remain below that for the majority of the seven day forecast. As of now, we're expecting highs in the lower 80s only Friday and Saturday with a cold front likely causing a few showers late Saturday and possibly lingering into Sunday. The timing of the front is not yet certain, so we'll keep you updated on the rain chances and timing online and on-air.
