A cold front will approach the region from the northwest today and ahead of it the D.C. area can continue to expect the heat and humidity with high temperatures in the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies. A few storms are possible later this afternoon. Tonight, low temperatures will be around 70 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
The cold front will push through the area early Tuesday but the heat will hang around one more day with highs in the upper 80s. A thundershower will be possible mainly south and east tomorrow closer to the frontal boundary. Beyond Tuesday, gorgeous weather will settle in to the area with highs in the low to mid 80s Wednesday, low 80s Thursday and around 80 degrees (possibly upper 70s!) on Friday. Humidity levels will also be comfortable to end the week with dew points in the 50s. We’re looking forward to it!
