Summer is back for the next two days but a big change in the weather pattern coming right in time for the weekend

Another warm day upon us with temperatures making it into the mid 90s today for most locations! With the combined humidity, it will feel like 100 degrees during the afternoon hours. A chance of showers and storms through the afternoon hours, mainly west of the DC area. Still muggy overnight with lows dropping to the mid 70s. Back to the 90s tomorrow (lower 90s) with partly cloudy skies and a better chance of showers and storms rolling through with a cold front edging towards the region. Scattered storms in nature through the afternoon and evening hours. Behind the front, breezy and much more noticeable cooler conditions settling into the region: daytime highs on Friday and Saturday in the 70s with breezy conditions on Friday.
