An area of high pressure will slowly drift away from the mid-Atlantic today. Under mostly sunny skies, highs will range from the upper 70s to middle 80s. Clouds will increase a bit during the overnight hours as a cold front starts to approach from the west. Temperatures will be comfortable and cool, upper 50s in the mountains to middle 60s in the District.
A spotty shower will be possible Sunday, but limited to not even 30 percent. In other words, most of us won't see a drop. Look for partly sunny skies and warmer temperatures. Highs will rebound to the middle to upper 80s.
