And the hits just keep on coming...channeling the radio disc jockeys of the 60's....yet another beautiful, early-fall day.

Partly cloudy and pleasant
Highs: Mid to Upper 70s
Wind: NE 3-5 mph
Partly cloudy and not as chilly
Lows: 49º-57º
Wind: Light
Partly cloudy and comfortable
Highs: Mid to Upper 70s
Wind: NE 4-8 mph

More beautiful weather across the area today as high pressure hangs tough for yet another day. During the day tomorrow, as an upper air disturbance passes by the Wahington area, there may be a period of increasing cloudiness but no rain. A new area of high pressure will return partly to mostly sunny skies to the region for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and perhaps a bit longer.

It will be interesting to watch the weather as we head towards the weekend. Some computer models have been doggedly forecasting a sizable, coastal storm for the weekend. if the storm develops, it will likely be far enough off-shore to only cause breezy condition (and no rain) along the coast. But as I pointed out, it will be interesting to watch.

As you have no doubt noticed, it's that time of year wheen the shorter daylight hours are becoming noticeable. The sun sets at 7 pm tonight. We won't see another sunset that late until March.
