The area of high pressure, which has supplied a week's worth of sunshine, is moving out to sea today.Winds from the south will give us the feel of late summer with slightly warmer and more humid conditions.
A cold front will approach the region tomorrow. Clouds will be increasing throughout the day and scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely during the afternoon and evening hours. Computer models have been moving the front steadily through the area. If that timing holds, then Sunday will be partly cloudy, breezy and a bit cooler. A new area of high pressure will deliver more sunny September days for a good portion of next week.
