Mother Nature has reminded us that summer is still upon us as the heat and humidity have come back with a vengeance. Tuesday saw highs in the low 90s area-wide and it will be a touch hotter today!
This will make for heat indices or “feels like” temperatures around 100 degrees. We may see a few showers and storms Wednesday afternoon, mainly west along I-81, but Thursday will bring the best chance of showers and storms as a cold front draws near.
Behind this front, Canadian high pressure will return, providing us with cooler and refreshing weather as we head into the weekend! It is looking great for the Plane Pull this Saturday at Dulles with lots of sunshine and highs in the lower 70s! I am looking forward to emceeing the activities! Have a great day!
