Clouds will increase slightly overnight as temperatures fall into the 30s in the mountains to near 40 degrees inside the Beltway.

Marine Corps Marathon forecast: Expect a dry and chilly to start the day with temperatures in the 40s. Look for abundant sunshine, a few added midday clouds and afternoon readings approaching 60 degrees.

Temperatures will moderate over the next several days with highs back to the middle 60s by Wednesday and Thursday. Showers are possible late Halloween Day with the potential for stronger storms Friday.
