A very chilly autumn day out there as temperatures only approach the lower to mid 50s. A mix of sun and clouds, the winds will pick up slightly during the afternoon hours. A freeze watch has been issued for areas along and west of I-95. Overnight lows with clearing skies and diminishing winds will drop into the lower 30s for most places, around 37 in the DC area. Sunshine returns tomorrow as well as the cool temperatures. Daytime highs on Friday only upper 40s/lower 50s! Another chilly overnight on tap for Friday into Saturday (so remember, each morning will be fairly on the cool side). By the week, temperatures step up a few notches into the mid to upper 50s. Saturday will feature more sunshine than Sunday but we are staying dry. Sunshine returns on Monday and the chances of rain as well as temperatures back in the 60s are introduced towards the end of the next work week.
