Washington D.C. Forecast: Freeze Warning through 9am Saturday

The D.C. area will again experience low temperatures below freezing into Saturday morning.

FREEZE WARNING in effect everywhere east of the Blue Ridge from midnight through 10 am Saturday morning. Frost is possible in those areas with calm or very light winds.

The beautiful but chilly weather continues. As high pressure moves overhead tonight, skies will be clear, winds will diminish and temperatures will again drop to or below freezing across a large portion of the area. Tomorrow will be sunny and just a bit milder. Gusty southwest winds will develop during the day, as well. High temperatures will be just a bit mild than recent days. On Sunday, partly to mostly sunny weather is forecast as high temperatures will reach near to 60 degrees. On Monday and Tuesday, temperatures will be in the lower or middle 60s.
