The wet weather pattern rolls on through the weekend, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

This Afternoon:
Scattered showers/drizzle, a bit breezy and cool
Highs: Upper 50s to low 60s
Wind: N 5-15 mph
Light rain/drizzle, cool
Lows: 50s
Wind: N 5-15 mph
Scattered showers/drizzle, still breezy and cool
Highs: Low 60s
Wind: N 5-15 mph

The weather pattern remains unchanged, as that coastal low continues to spin off the VA/NC border bringing in bands of Atlantic moisture. The good news is we're getting some much needed rain and the weekend is not going to be a washout. Spotty showers and drizzle will be possible through the day today with highs only in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Both Saturday and Sunday only light showers and drizzle are expected with highs in the low 60s. There is a slight chance you may see a few peeks of sun on Sunday as the low slowly pulls away, but a better chance of seeing some sunshine on Columbus Day, Monday with highs around 70 degrees. Have a great weekend.
