An area of low pressure will weaken off the North Carolina coast as high pressure to the north builds. Clouds will keep temperatures in the 50s across much of the forecast region overnight. Patchy drizzle may linger into the morning hours west of D.C., but skies will start to clear Monday. Highs will be in the middle 60s to near 70 degrees depending on the amount of sun.

Tuesday appears to be a much (MUCH!) better looking day with bright skies and temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s. A cold front will bring a chance for showers Thursday afternoon and evening and cooler conditions by next weekend.
