It was a cool start in D.C. this morning with lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s. It was the coldest air we've felt since May! But, with abundant sunshine and dry air in place today,, we should warm up into the upper 60s this afternoon, right around our average high of 67. Today will be the warmest of the week, as a cold front and push of arctic air in the Midwest heads our way.  A few clouds will move in on Tuesday as a result, but in general we will see little in terms of rainfall. Best chance will be overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday.  Even a dusting in the mountains will be possible. Check out my blog for details on what to expect the rest of the week and even colder temperatures!
