Almost…we hit 88º degrees yesterday, the warmest October day since 2010 but one degree off the record high of 89º. The driving force behind this weather is a ridge of high pressure that will shift a bit to the east over the coming days. The net result will reveal a few more clouds, but this very warm, dry pattern persists with no real rain chances until the start of next week. We are watching a tropical wave in the Gulf, which could transport some good moisture our way by Monday, if the models come to fruition. (Learn more about this in Alex Liggitt’s latest blog.) In the meantime, make the most of this extended summer weather in October. Have a great day!
