Washington D.C. Forecast: Breezy and Beautiful Today, Rain on the Way

Some rain in the forecast for tomorrow morning but holiday weekend looking spectacular!

A mix of sun and clouds today will and a nice southerly breeze will give way to temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 60s for today! A fairly mild night tonight as well as temperatures drop to the mid-50s. Light rain will be moving in first thing tomorrow morning from the west to the east. It should enter the Shenandoah Valley around 7 AM and continue to spread eastward through the district during the morning hours. By the mid-afternoon, the light rain will have cleared the area by the afternoon hours. Winds will continue to be breezy through the day tomorrow and through the day on Friday. Sunshine returns on Friday as well as the chilly temperatures. Highs on Friday will only be in the mid-50s (but feeling cooler with the winds). Winds will die down by the weekend and the sunshine continues. Temperatures for the weekend and into the first part of next week remain in the mid to upper 50s. A great holiday weekend in store for us!
