Washington, D.C. forecast: Mainly clear overnight, chilly Saturday

High clouds overnight will help keep temperatures a bit milder overnight, but still quite chilly for his time of year.

Saturday:
Partly to Mostly Cloudy
Highs: lower 40s
Wind: Southeast 5-10 mph
Sunday:
Partly to Mostly Cloudy
Highs: upper 40s
Wind: Southeast 5-10 mph

High clouds will increase overnight from west to east as temperatures fall to near 30 degrees in the District and the lower 20s in the far northern and western suburbs. Skies will go from partly to mostly cloudy Saturday, but it will remain dry and cool for this time of year. With highs only in the lower 40s, the stretch of below average temperatures will continue.

A few showers may dot radar late Sunday, but chances are very limited. Afternoon temperatures will rebound into the upper 40s.
