High pressure is centered along the New England coast. It will remain nearly stationary until a cold front crosses the area Thursday. With cloudy skies and light to calm winds tonight, and under the influence of high pressure, areas of fog may form. After the low clouds lift in the morning, skies will become partly sunny tomorrow and temperatures will rise into the middle 60s.

On Thursday, it will be mostly cloudy and breezy in the morning. Scattered showers are likely ahead of and along the front. And if the front moves as expected, skies may clear a bit later in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain quite mild with highs returning to the middle 60s. Clearing skies and somewhat cooler air will be in place on Friday. The weekend outlook is for sunny skies on Saturday and partly cloudy skies on Sunday. Temperatures will moderate through the 50s on Saturday to near 60 degrees by Sunday.
