Get ready for winter-like temperatures this weekend. An arctic airmass is heading our way!

This Afternoon:
Mostly cloudy, mild, chance of sprinkles/showers
Highs: Low 60s
Wind: S 5-10 mph
Overnight:
Mostly cloudy and becoming breezy
Lows: Low to mid 40s
Wind: West to North 10-20mph
Saturday:
Partly sunny and breezy
Highs: Around 50 degrees
Wind: N 10-20+ mph

If you're a warm weather lover, enjoy this last day of the work week because the coldest air of the season will invade the area over the weekend.  Despite the cloud cover today, highs will reach the lower 60s.  As a cold front inches east, a few pre-frontal showers will be possible throughout the day.  Rain chances look more likely through the evening commute.  Overnight winds will shift out of the west and will start to transport drier and slightly cooler air into the region.

Saturday will be dry, but a bit cooler and quite breezy.  The really cold air will move in overnight Saturday into Sunday.  In fact, highs Sunday will only reach the mid to upper 30s.  Factor in gusty northwest winds and it will feel like the teens and 20s.  Sunday's high could be the coldest November high in the past few years.  The colder stretch of weather will take us into the beginning of next week.
