The area of high pressure that had helped funnel cold air across the mid-Atlantic will slowly drift offshore. Clouds will help keep temperatures milder compared to recent nights, with lows in the upper 20s to middle 30s.

Clouds will begin to clear Sunday morning and afternoon highs should reach the middle 40s. A weak disturbance is likely to bring a few showers Monday as highs approach 50 degrees.

Near to slightly above average temperatures will bring a welcome change during the upcoming week. Highs by Thursday and Friday will be in the 50s with increased chances for showers.
