Washington, D.C. weather forecast: Time and temperatures "fall back" Sunday

Temperatures will tumble for the start of the new week. Breezy conditions will make it feel like the 40s.

Overnight:
Gradual Clearing
Lows: 38°-44°
Wind: Northwest 8-12 mph
Sunday:
Mostly Sunny, Cool and Breezy
Highs: 50°-55°
Wind: Northwest 10-20 mph
Monday:
Sunny and Chilly
Highs: near 50°
Wind: Northeast 10-15 mph

 

Don't forget to set your clocks back by one hour before bed. Sunday morning sunrise is at 6:38 and evening sunset is 5:05. Daylight saving time returns March 9th.

Skies will slowly clear during the overnight hours as temperatures slip into the 30s in the mountains and lower to middle 40s inside the Beltway. Northwesterly winds will add an extra chill to the air on Sunday. Highs will be in the lower to middle 50s with feels like temperatures in the 40s.

Cool November weather continues into Monday. An area of high pressure will shift just off the coast and winds will change direction allowing for milder temperatures by Tuesday.

The next best chance for showers will the Thursday.
