This was our coldest Thanksgiving Day since back in 2000! (That year we peaked at 38º!)

Overnight:
Clear & Downright Cold
Lows: 18º-28º
UV Index: N 2-5 mph
Black Friday:
Sunny, Less Wind, Continued Brisk
Highs: 39°-44°
Wind: N 5-10 mph
Saturday:
Limited Sun, Cool
Highs: Low 40s
Wind: NE 5-10 mph

As high pressure moves overhead, our winds continue to calm into the evening. Expect lows in the upper teens in the western suburbs and 20s downtown. If you are heading out for early deals, be sure to bundle up! Black Friday brings total sunshine, light winds and continued cool temperatures near 40º. The mercury doesn’t move much for Saturday as the high moves offshore and shifting winds out of the northeast and spilling clouds into the region. Warmer winds should allow a milder push for the back half of the weekend and the start of next week, yet still 5-10 degrees below average with highs in the mid 40s under partly sunny skies. Have a great Thanksgiving weekend!
