Very warm weekend ahead until a cold front snaps us back to reality late Sunday and Sunday night.
- Mostly cloudy and mild
- Temperatures: 40s
- Wind: SW 10 mph
- Some sun and very mild.
- Highs: middle 60s
- Wind: SW 10-15 mph
- Very warm and breezy. Rain developing late with thunderstorms
- Highs: around 70 to the lower 70s (Record High 72 degrees)
- With high pressure anchored over the Atlantic Ocean and a cold front and attendant area of low pressure moving through the Midwest, our area will continue to see breezy and mild conditions with more clouds than sunshine tomorrow and Sunday. Temperatures will climb into the middle 60s on Saturday. On Sunday, we will see the possibility of temperatures reaching the lower 70s…especially since we now believe the rain will hold off until somewhat later in the day. By Sunday night however, the cold front will bring rain and possible thunderstorms. We now expect areas of rain to hold on through Monday morning in some areas. Temperatures will fall through the day from morning highs in the 50s. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be mostly sunny and seasonably cold as high pressure moves back across the area.
