Washington D.C. Forecast: Breezy and Cold Wednesday.. Then, A Warm Up

As the weather disturbance moves away, colder air creating some flurries around the area.

Lows: Mid 20s to Low 30s
Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.
Partly Cloudy, Breezy and Chilly
Highs: Near 40
Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.
Mostly Sunny and Milder
Highs: Near 50
Wind: SW 4-8 m.p.h.

Showers were observed across Southern Maryland and the Eastern Shore as as an upper level disturbance moved across the region tonight. Most of the snow has been falling across New England with the heaviest snow being around Boston. It was a commuter nightmare across parts of Massachussetts.

High pressure will bring clearing skies and cold weather tomorrow and it will persist through Thursday. But on Thursday, the much heralded warming trend will begin. By Friday, temperatures will climb into the upper 50s. Clouds will increase by Friday afternoon. And then for the weekend…it will get noticeably warmer but there is also a pretty good chance we will see showers on Saturday and Sunday. Temperature-wise we are forecasting highs into the lower 60s on Saturday and the middle 60s on Sunday.
