A mix of sun and clouds today as another weak but dry cold front approaches the region. Temperatures will range in the 30s for today, mainly in the mid to upper 30s but those areas with some snowpack still on the ground may have issues reaching the mid30s. Winds pick up tonight behind this frontal system and the breezy conditions will stick around through the day tomorrow. Be on the lookout once again overnight for some patches of black ice around the roadways/sidewalks. Daytime highs on Thursday will barely make it out of the 20s but with the winds rolling at 7-14 mph out of the northwest, it will feel more like the mid-teens, despite the sunshine. Sunshine continues through the end of the week as high pressure builds overhead and eventually moves off the coast. Temperatures moderate slightly on Friday, moving into the mid to upper 30s. By Saturday, more clouds move into the region as an area of low pressure moves out of Texas and right into our area, once again from the southwest. This will bring another round of precip to the region for Saturday. Precip type still has yet to be determined but we could see yet another round of the dreaded wintry mix through Saturday.
