Washington D.C. Forecast: Winter Warm Up Still in Store for this Weekend

After a chilly day today, temperatures start to go up starting tomorrow!

Although the sun will be out today, the breezy winds will keep the temperatures and the wind chills down! Air temperatures will rise to right around 40 degrees but with the wind, it will feel more like around 30 degrees. Winds will diminish through the evening hours and with clear skies, expect a really chilly night on tap as overnight lows fall into the 20s. Thursday will be the start to our warming trend, feeling noticeably warmer with temperatures nearing 50 degrees! By the time we get to Friday, daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 50s and we are on track to see 60s for the weekend! Clouds will hang tough Friday – Sunday with a slight chance of rain showers on Saturday and a better chance of rain showers moving in Sunday night through Monday. Temperatures will begin to drop off the beginning of next week falling into the 40s for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
