Hello, cold temperatures! More winter-like weather returns just in time for the holidays. The main cold front is now offshore, but another weak weather front will slide through today. Expect added clouds and breezy winds, as the front approaches. Little moisture is associated with the front, but there may be just enough for a few flurries to fall.
Clear and cold for Santa's arrival to the Nation's Capital tonight. Christmas Day brings sunny skies and cold highs; in the low to mid 30s.
The rest of the week brings tranquil weather and seasonable highs. The last weekend of 2013 features slightly milder highs, approaching 50 degrees, and fair conditions. Have a Merry Christmas!
