What an amazing first weekend of winter.  Today we transition back to the current season as a cold front swinging through lead to periods of rain, some possible heavy. In fact parts of the metro region are under a Flood Watch through 2pm. Skies dry from west to east with southern Maryland seeing rain linger past dusk. Temperatures will be mildest this morning, (60°), before falling through the 50s during the day. Christmas Eve will be breezy and noticeably colder with highs struggling to make the low 40s. A flurry or brief snow shower is possible. Christmas Day brings the return of sunshine but it will remain crisp with highs in the upper 30s. Temperatures will slowly moderate toward the end of the week. Have a great day!
