Beautiful weather to end the week and start the weekend, but changes by Sunday.

This Afternoon:
Sunny and pleasant
Highs: 40-45 degrees
Wind: SW 5-10 mph
Clear and cold
Lows: Mid 20s to lower 30s downtown
Wind: SW 5 mph
Mostly sunny and milder
Highs: Low to mid 50s
Wind: SW 5-10 mph

An area of high pressure will deliver sunny skies both today and tomorrow.  High temperatures will also be slightly above average.  Today we'll reach the mid to upper 40s and tomorrow low to mid 50s.

High clouds will move in, from the south, late tomorrow night, as an area of low pressure develops over the Gulf Coast.  The low will track up the East coast Sunday and bring D.C. a cold rain.

Rain will come to an end Sunday evening and then breezy northwesterly winds will kick in.  Monday will be chilly and quite breezy, as another cold front approaches the area.

This front should slide through dry, but a blast of cold air will settle in just in time for the New Year.  New Year's Eve and Day will be dry, but cold with highs only in the low to mid 30s!
