Washington D.C. Forecast: A Few More Bouts of Light Snow Showers on the Horizon

After a dismal start this morning, clouds clear quickly as high pressure moves into the region for a brief time. Sunshine today with temperatures right around seasonable for this time of year, in the lower 40s. Clear skies overnight, temperatures will fall into the 20s. A few pieces of energy, bringing light snow will affect us over the next few days starting tomorrow morning. Some flurries (mainly west of the DC area) could float over the mountains Friday morning. Sunshine during the day on Friday with temperatures warming into the mid-40s. Then by Friday night, that same disturbance will move to the east, bringing light snow showers with it.

By Saturday, breezy conditions will follow as well as temperatures in the 30s. A mix of sun and clouds, another round of light snow showers will float on through the region Saturday night into Sunday. Continuing with the breeze on Sunday, temperatures will move back into the lower 40s with clearing skies. By Monday, the region nears 50 degrees with full blown sunshine on tap.
