FLOOD WATCH in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening for most of the area.

Warm southwesterly winds above the cold air at the surface set the stage for low clouds, rain and fog today. More areas of light rain and fog will continue tonight. But tomorrow, the warm air will work down to the surface and temperatures will climb to 60 degrees. More rain will move in tomorrow by early afternoon and the rain will be heavy at times. To go along with the heavy rain and warm temperatures will be quite breezy. Winds will be 10-15mph and may gust a bit higher. This will be due to the approach of the next cold front. Rainfall is expected to total between 1 and two inches…hence the Flood Watch. The front will cross the area late tomorrow night and will lead to a pleasant day on Sunday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 50s. Mild air will remain in place on Monday and Tuesday.
