Washington D.C. Forecast: Light rain and snow continues

Areas of light rain and/or snow across the area. Mainly grassy area accumulations, especially north and west of Washington.

A cold front will cross the area this evening with considerably cloudy skies with areas of light rain and/or snow. Minor accumulations anticipated mainly on grassy areas, decks and rooftops, especially in higher terrain  north and west of the metro area. It will become partly cloudy tomorrow and Friday.

By Friday night, another colder front will cross our area with colder temperatures and the chance of flurries. It will be breezy and a touch colder on Saturday with partly cloudy skies and a few passing flurries. Another round of flurries is possible Saturday night into Sunday morning. F.Y.I….long range models are suggesting much colder air could arrive in our area by next Wednesday or Thursday.
