Temps will finally go up as we continue through the day today! Tuesday daytime highs were in the 20s, Wednesday daytime highs were around 30 and today we should make it to the 40 degree mark! A mix of sun and clouds through the day today, we will remain on the dry side. Things change as we head into the overnight and through tomorrow morning. A piece of energy moving up from the southwest will bring a chance of some freezing rain to the region. Although it will be spotty in nature and producing very light accumulations from 5AM – 9AM, any light accumulations could be enough to disrupt the morning commute. Things will warm up rather quickly during the mid-mornings and any batches of precip leftover will change to plain spotty rain. Temperatures will shoot into the low to mid 40s for Friday. By Saturday, a frontal system will be approaching the area bringing a chance of some rain showers through the day. Temperatures will shoot to near 60 degrees on Saturday ahead of the front. A few sprinkles left on Sunday early morning, rapid clearing will take place and temperatures bottom out in the 50s for daytime highs. 50s stick around for Monday and Tuesday as well before more seasonable temperatures return mid next week.
