Warmer temperatures and rain headed our way but at least the second half of the weekend we will be able to enjoy!

This Afternoon:
Spotty Rain
Temperatures: Upper 30s
Wind: E 3-6 mph
Getting Foggy
Lows: Mid to Upper 30s
Wind: S 5-10 mph
Rain, Heavy at Times
Highs: Near 60

Freezing rain quickly coming to an end across the region and batches of spotty “plain” rain will continue through the remainder of the afternoon. Temperatures today will move into the upper 30s with clouds continuing. By the time we head into the overnight hours, temperatures will fall just a few degrees from our daytime high. Clouds stick around overnight with more rain on the move ahead of a frontal system forecast to cross the region tomorrow evening. After a foggy start tomorrow morning, temperatures ahead of the front will move to near 60 degrees tomorrow-so precip type not as issue. A very slight chance of a rumble of thunder tomorrow but mainly just rain showers, heavy at times, especially during the afternoon hours. Some localities around the region could receive up to 1.50” of rainfall accumulation. By the evening hours, rain will rapidly end from the west to the east and a breeze will settle in. The breeze will continue through the first part of Sunday morning as temperatures top out in the 50s with sunshine. 50s continue for Monday and Tuesday as well.
