Light freezing rain continues to move out with some spots picking up just under 1/10th of an inch of ice. Slick spots linger, especially walking surfaces! The precipitation will end as plain drizzle or rain showers by early afternoon as temperatures rebound to near 40º, helped along by a southerly breeze. The weekend will bring unseasonably mild weather- and boy don’t we deserve it! A southerly breeze Saturday will boost readings into the upper 50s to near 60º. However, we will have a cold front marching toward the area that will bring rain and some could be heavy for a brief period. Behind the front, there won’t be much of a cool-down so we expect readings to be in the 50s Sunday and Monday with partly sunny skies. Have a great weekend!
