Possible Record Cold High Temperatures

Arctic High pressure is settling in today and calmer winds this afternoon will bring slightly better conditions.  However, a weak front will bring a few clouds and possibly a few flurries Thursday afternoon and just reinforce the cold air through Friday.  The snow will act like a refrigerator and prevent us from warming much.  Here's a look at final snowfall totals.

Snow Totals from Jan 21st

It will start to get warmer this weekend with a few spots, mainly in the metro or south that get above freezing on Saturday.   However, another disturbance will kick up a chance of snow showers on Saturday afternoon.  That looks like a slightly better chance for a dusting.  We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, stay warm!
